UVISON Technologies was started in 1997 (initially trading as Interlink Scientific Services) by Dan Driscoll, as a provider of 3rd party servicing to the pharmaceutical industry, with the ambition and commitment of delivering "Service with Integrity". By identifying the manufacturer of components used within OEM equipment, Dan was able to offer competitively-priced service cover whilst still using the same high-quality parts! Since then, the business has diversified to include the sale of consumables & spare parts, offering a one-stop-shop that includes some of the biggest names in analytical chemistry. We currently support a global network of customers and distributors with everything from vials & syringe filters to UV lamps, columns (for LC, GC, IC & FC) & proprietary service parts. By combining our servicing expertise and ability to source quality parts at discounted prices, we're able to offer high-quality refurbished instrumentation at competitive pricing, working with key suppliers to offer nearly-new equipment (LC, GC, GC-MS, UV-vis, dissolution, etc.) that's usually current- or last-generation.
In the past 5-10 years, UVISON have also started to sell new instrumentation. Our portfolio includes common analytical techniques (LC, GC, Flash Chromatography, UV-vis, water testing, dissolution, hardness testing, etc.) and novel technologies like the RADIAN ASAP Direct Mass Detector, the portable Axcend Focus LC and the end-to-end accroma samplePrep automation system. In 2018, we also started a new strategic partnership with LNI Swissgas, becoming their exclusive distribution partner in UK & Ireland for the entire portfolio (gas generators, H2 sensors, water demineralisers, gas blenders & calibrators, lab benches & quiet boxes)!
Our decades of expertise, and close collaborations with expert consultants like Dr Richard Ladd (ex-Analytical R&D Director at AstraZeneca) allow us to offer high-quality training & consultancy covering everything from day-to-day maintenance & analytical method development training to world-leading consultancy for the pharmaceutical industry.
Today, we remain a family-owned business with over 20 employees based in Kent (UK), focussed on delivering the best for our customers and with a continued commitment to delivering service with integrity.

P.S. ever wondered where the name UVISON comes from? Well, the "UV" reflects our decades of experience servicing UV-vis and HPLC-UV systems, the "I" represents our old company name (ISS) and the "SON" is in recognition of Dan's three sons who all work in the business!
